Housewives Bakery Course

Institute Course


A comprehensive course in Bakery and Confectionery, the “Housewives” course takes you on a journey from basic bakery to creative confectionery. The course spans 3 months, covering over 60 recipes from different countries. Its uniqueness lies in the hands-on experience it offers to the student to excel in the different avenues of this exciting world of baking.

Eligibility:
No Minimum Qualifications. On first-come-first-served basis.
Tenure:
3 months part-time Mon, Wed, Fri 1.30 p.m. to 4.30 p.m.

Ms. Shashi Mahesh

A student of the Polytechnic, having excelled in her first year, and earning herself the highest honours Shashi found herself opting to specialize in Bakery & Confectionery in the next year. This is where her career began. She then trained at the Taj Bakery and the Bakery at the President and Ambassador Hotels and joined us as Bakery instructor in 1990 at HAFT. She was appointed Head of the Bakery in 1994.
